Explore Tech is a 10 week Talent Accelerator led by industry leaders to share tools and resources on resume writing, effective interviewing, building a brand and networking skills. Participants will also receive a Microsoft AI Certification. Limited spots available.

The mission of NOLAvate Black is guided by our commitment to foster Inclusive Innovation in the Gulf Coast Region, which suggests that diversity, meaning representation across various backgrounds, cultures, races, gender, and regions, offer experiences and perspectives that ultimately produce the best technology, and a stronger, sustainable talent pipeline.

Community

Build a strong network of tech professionals of color who operate as vital contributors toward the economic sustainability of our region.

Access

Identify, connect and communicate clear pathways that help individuals navigate, participate and become decision-makers within the technology ecosystem.

Education

Facilitate and create spaces for professionals and entrepreneurs to find jobs, get training, share resources and engage with executive mentors to advance their careers.

Advocacy

Promote a culture of inclusive innovation through initiatives that transform recruitment, retention, advancement and investment in underresourced and underrepresented communities.

Black Tech NOLA activated on HBCU campuses across the state -sharing career pathways with aspiring technologists. Students engaged with leaders from global brands committed to supporting NOLAvate Black’s efforts to ‘build an inclusive and sustainable ecosystem in technology’.  NOLAvate Black is the only place where tech, art and Black culture collide.
